Meet the artist

A creative life, shaped by nature.

My name is Lorena Tuinenburg. My family moved from Argentina to Southern California in 1981. My love of art grew from making things for my home and family, and eventually became South Meets North.

Nature is my inspiration: gardens in spring, oceans and sea life in summer, vibrant autumn colors, and snowy winter landscapes. I work with watercolors, oils, acrylics and mixed media.
