This is a mixed media painting of a stingray, in which I used acrylics and a plastic bag for the texture.

This painting is part of the Faces of the Ocean series, a collection inspired by the creatures that inhabit our oceans and the fragile environments they call home. Each work gives a distinctive "face" to a different marine life form, inviting us to see these creatures not simply as part of an ecosystem, but as living beings worthy of our attention, protection and respect. Through texture, color, and symbolism, the series explores both the beauty of the ocean and the growing impact of human activity upon it.
